Welcome 2009.

It's 2009! How has it been treating you guys? (By you guys, I mean the remaining, like 2 of you still reading this. Hahaha.)

So I've been lazy throughout the festive seasons. And looking back, I realised I never made myself any New Year Resolutions. Well, Let's reminisce..

So, 2008 has been such a roller coaster ride. Moved into this house early, and today(or somewhere along this week) should be the first birthday for my computer, which has served me rather well. Please remain this way for a few more years! Haha.

Family-wise, I think my family and I have become closer than ever. Going on trips(more on that later), and practically seeing each other almost everyday kinda does this bonding thingy, right?

Relationships-wise, well, it's more than I can ever ask for. (x Although it gets taxing sometimes, you know that we can make it through! Haha.

Friendships.. Not something that have been all too peachy all year round. Burnt some bridges, built some new ones, and re-walking the older ones are always pleasant. Like I mentioned, I maintain that I reminisce of happier thoughts! Joining the new school has brought some really diverse, but good friends. Still meeting up with the Saints for a get-together at Alex's place was awesome. Can never forget singing the school song in his room again, after 8 years of not seeing each other? I'm amazed I still remember the lyrics. Heh. And a reunion with the Primary School friends is always great, although it was kinda disappointing in turns of attendance. I'm sure we'll get a better one next time round!

So I say, 2008 hasn't been as bad a year for me. Just for the record, I'll list out some of my more significant happenings for the past year.

- Moved, built my own computer, and generally has a whole load of housekeeping to maintain.

- Bought a Wii, but have not really made full use of it IMO.

- Had a short Tioman trip, and went on my furthest holiday ever, to the land where 马英九 just won presidency: Taiwan.

- Watched Manchester United clinch the double: English Premier League Champions and European Champions. (In 2009, they are then crowned the Champions of the World in the Club World Cup.) Glory Glory Man United!

- ORDed from National Service!

- Enrolled in a degree course at APMI Kaplan.

- Had my first Tag Heuer as a gift.

- Wrote a complaint letter to Starhub.

- Went to Bali, haggled with the locals, bungee-jumped off a 45m structure, and then drank alot at the poolside bar. Awesome!

- Celebrated my birthday at Flutes at the Fort, then headed to Batam for a 2d1n slackeroooo.

- Attended a funeral.

- Went to Hatyai, Thailand for a few days. Mcdonald's pork burger and cheap Swensen's ice-cream FTW!

- Met up with the Saints after 8 long years!

- Had my first(and second) shot of Hapsburg Absinthe. 72.5%!

Ended 2008 on a high, like literally. Had tonnes of drinks over at ZW's, which was all good. My Abslut 100 still holding out, so we managed to burn some stuffs. Flaming lambo makes people do silly things. No fireworks, so we'll make do with some flames.(More pictures and videos on FB!)

That's about it! I'm getting lazy. A fun and eventful year ahead I hope! (=
