Awesome weekend.

this weekend was awesomeeeeee.

don't wake me up, i plan on sleeping in..

booked out as usual. but before heading home, my section headed down to yishun safra for a game of bowling. hilarity ensued. and what's simply bowling without a lil side bet: doing the entire week's saikung. not exactly for the faint-hearted, since this coming week will see us doing a two day platoon movement. which means massive stores such as iron pickets, concertina wires. -shakes head- fast forward, of course i never kana. heh.

the days got better. met benwang in town for some shopping. in the end, my haul totalled up to just one shirt from topman, thanks to ficklemindedness. jared and shar joined us for abit. then i headed off to some gosu dinner.

samantha had to pick me up from heeren. good life huh. usually is guy drive girls around. but in this 21st century, it doesn't matter! haha. but i have to agree: it really is tough for a guy not to be able to drive. so, i have a new year resolution! i will drive by the end of this year, and with help from my mum, have my own car!

had some steamboat at marina. was one of the funnest steamboats. i think the company was good. four of us, peee and andrew, sam and me. peee was accused of bullying andrew all the time, and rightly so. haha! live prawns and crabs! got people peel prawn for everyone else. happiness! so i had to crack crab shells. ><

long chats on the car ride. with the windows wound down and the wind in my face. so shuang. elbow outta the window, carefree. good music too. makes my day anytime.

decided to go for some movies. but it didn't help that tickets were sold out. saw jeremy and yanling at vivocity, but only briefly. couldn't talk to them as i was on the phone. and in a split sec, poof! they're gone. haha.

decided to drive all the way down to jurong point for a midnight blood diamond. we still had an hour or two to go, so andrew sent peee home for a bath, and sam drove me back to her place for her to take a bath too. -_- in the end, the guys ended up stinky. BUT! thanks to my deodorant, both of us smelt pretty 'manly'. hahaha. sam's friends, desmond and two others i can't really remember, joined us as well.

movie was great. heh. a must watch!

so. for the past 8 weeks, i've been having my dinner at 5.30pm. thanks to the regimentation of the saf. and everyday at that time, i get to watch "happy fish", aka "快乐鱼". not bad show leh. but repeat telecast.

anyway, i'm guessing no one watches the show(odd hour to be watching tv), or remmebers the show anyway(too long ago). but here's what's happening for the last few episodes.

A was damn successful. until his siblings cheated him out of his money. A's parents are getting old, and none of his 3 brothers want to take care of them. despite A being the poorest and shyt like that, he still takes care of them.

btw, the difference between A and his brothers are: A is a salesman for pots and pans, his brothers are a businessman, a lecturer, and some young well-to-do fuck.

there was this incident when A was caught at work, and couldn't bring his parents to dinner. he phoned businessman brother to take them out, and reluctantly the brother did. but the fucker of a brother took his parents to a hawker centre, order salted vege, fish and porridge for them, and left them there. while they went to a restaurant for their meal.

wah. watch already blood boil.

still got more! A's wife wants to divorce him because he's being too nice, getting cheated all the time, and she has to take care of his parents for him. altho she whines alot about it, she still does it. when A's parents passed away, they left 12 gold bars for A and her, knowing that she was the most filial daughter-in-law. but those bastards found out about it and tried to deny her a share, stating that their parents died under her care, so she was undeserving of the inheritance.

at the parents wake, the brothers only talk about the inheritance(gold bars), never even send their parents off on their final journey.

i'm sure that in this world, sure got fuckers like that one. is damn overboard laaaa. ur parents raise yu till so big, then yu so cheebye. i really dunno how to describe them.

there was this part in the show when xie shao guang(谢韶光)'s character slapped one of the unfilial daughter-in-law. i tell yu, the entire cookhouse erupted in joy.

i don't think i can imagine myself being like that in the future. if i do, i hope i get struck by lightning. and if there's anyone in the world like this, i hope they get struck by lightning too. hur hur.

uneventful week!

yeah man. simply uneventful.

imagine. wake up. eat breakfast. take a nap. wake up. study. take a nap. wake up. lunch. take a nap. wake up. study. dinner. go to sleep.

then, multiply that by four and yu get my daily routine for the week.

only saving grace was soccer! games period on wednesday. and boy, was it satisfying. super old school: playing soccer on a basketball court with the basketball poles as goalposts. five-a-side game. and we dominateddddd. won every game i played in. heh. three goals in four matches, including one with my head. and two assists i think. but i think it's because alot of them dunno how to play soccer. what a shame, since it's said that all men are supposed to know how to play with balls, or kick a ball; i can't remember. in fact, i can't even remember if it was said, or thought up by myself. LMAO.

supposed to take some ippt today. but it rained.

from thursday night. to friday morning. to afternoon. TO BOOKOUT.

i was so damn pissed. had to walk around in the rain waiting for a damn cab.

i guess the weekend will be pretty uneventful too. which is good. so that i can fulfil my new year resolution number 1. heh.

New year resolutions!

coming a week late. but better late than never?

sooo. hopefully, six months later, i can see some of my resolutions still staying true and strong. lol.

1. save half of my pay every month. starting from now.

yeah. i'm pretty serious! a bit difficult.. no wait. make that very difficult. but that's because i want to..

2. go to some overseas country far far awayyyyyy.

plan would be to visit samantha at queensland, australia. and calvin too. stick around at brisbane to slack some. then maybe travel around. but then dunno peee free or not. and it's probably tough to coordinate such shyt. but got money, want to do what also can, right?

3. no more than 8 hours of sleep everyday.

to prevent myself from being too lazy. 8 hours is like 1/3 of the day gone, wasted. and that's bad.

4. play less mahjong.

still will play la. but play too much it gets very mundane. i think chinese new year should play less mahjong.. hmm.

5. maintain physical fitness level, aka silver for ippt.

not really that impossibly la. but i suppose the slacking too much will own me sooner or later. time not to be so lazy!
