I'm supposed to be sleeping/studying..

in fact, i'm supposed to be doing anything but blogging. but what the heck.

i was supposed to be studying all the way from when i reached home(11pm), until morning before i go to school for the blardie SS exams(7am). that's 8 hours.

so what did i end up doing? everything except mugging. chat on msn. play mahjong, listen to music, surf random sites, gah.

i hope i'm confident of going into the exam to grab a 'pass'. haha. gone were the days when anything less than A is fatal. give me a D, and i'll say 'thank you. i'm moving on."

i'm gonna go nap for abit. naps are all i have these few days man. with unhealthy activities like staying up for soccer and mahjong. grr. i was pretty surprised when jialin called me this afternoon. "12pm already." hahaha. thanks man. 不愧是我十六年的好朋友！

wake up at 7. i have three hours to nap, and covered everything except for the last two chapters, VPN and SSL. let's hope the exams love me and decide to go slow on those two chapters.

wish me luck; i need tonnes.

and i want nice dreams! haha. just like last night's dream! strange, but beautiful. haha!

okay. a recap.

20th feb__
went to fisherman's wharf for dinner. some gosu fish and chips. fresh fries are some yummy stuff. the whole lot of us was there, i.e. the eight and half member of the crew.(zhebin's the last half cos damn hard to catch him)
attended a 'talk-cock session' about diving. ahh. pretty interested. but 420 is not something i can fork out just yet. grr. nevermindd..
headed down to boatquay and chit chat some. interesting shyt.

21st feb__
went to jinlong's place for mahjong after the above rubbish session. his place is some near mine. walked over at about 12midnight. mahjonged with jy, jl and some random girl called yun. some national basketball player, thanks. anyway, didn't go home until about 3pm. some concuss in action.

22nd feb__
yup. it's the next day already. woke up at about ten plus? supposed to meet siti at millenia to study. in the end, they changed location and i was taking too long to get outta house. reached some burgerking at around three plus. didn't even study enough, was simply chatting about prom and various random stuff.
went down to ade's place after. supposed to be 'studying', but yeah. who believes us man? haha. had some kinky 金枕头. and chatted alot. as usual. heh.

23rd feb__
went down to vincent's place after ade's place. some long time never go home! watched barcelona own chelsea. what else. muahaha. interesting shyt. match ended at 6plus(am), and i slept till about twelve. ade's phone call = both of us going down to lot1 for some ajisen ramen. thanks vincent for the treat! HAHA.
went home shortly after. then steph come and di siao siao. ask me go down to ade's place cos she's 'bored'. since when she not bored? lol. so i go down loh. >.<
everyone else was actually studying at ade's place. with the exception of some, of course. i read up some notes, if not i'm thoroughly screwed man.
went down to jinlong's place again to play mahjong..

24th feb__
that's today. just got home from jinlong's place at about 8:50am. gonna go study with siti later. must mug! if not fucking retain = the end of me. gah. oh. don't forget the dinner with the mofos at miramar. muahaha.

it's gonna be so good i can't wait! dejavu.. hmm.. LOL.

adit: fuck. i just woke up, and it's 6pm. haven't study!
and dinner at miramar is TOMORROW night. !@#$%
and and and. i just had this weird dream about the crew at some chalet. i can even remember every single person in it. but the dream is so twisted that i don't think anyone should know about it. blahhhh.

right now, all i want is to watch "Whose Line Is It Anyway", followed by a deep slumber. nothing some sleep can't cure, right?

work was pretty relaxed today, i guess. i wouldn't even consider work since there wasn't much that i had to do.

finished up at around eleven thirty. klein had shyt to do, and we had already decided on me cabbing back, so there was time to burn.

and what do boring people like me do? they drink. so i grabbed myself a bottle of carlsberg.

settled myself down at the cushions. comfy stuff. the only people that's left are klein, edna, and i. edna was resting, waiting for klein to bring her to her valentine's day movie. klein was busy with updating stuff. so i relaxed for a moment.

stretched myself.. and i was aching all over. memories of batam.. it was a bittersweet reminescence.

finished up in abit. klein was still at his shyt. he said: "go ahead. 尽管拿." i took it as a taunt. xo time.

googoodolls' iris played. super nice! thankssss. music makes my day. if i'm unoccupied, music is my companion. otherwise, i'll think alot. but it's an irony because some songs play, and i think more. blah.

some random song played. i didn't like it. so i got myself some bombay sapphire. triggered more thoughts. the past, the present, the future. wow. i've some fantastic imagination. rawrrrrr. A -> B, B -> A, C -> B. more ABCs is no thanks!

i decided i hated drinking alone. so i finished up. but klein was still at his damn stuff. made some grasshopper. and promptly after getting my drink, he finishes. talk about murphy's law. finished up and left. time was twelve oh four.

some people say that just moments before you die, your entire life flashes before your eyes. hahaha. i think it would be pretty interesting. because the past half hour seemed like hours. haha. some emo entry it was. i wonder what day today is..

Batam 2006 (Text)

good trip! heh. i'll do away with all bad things, because i think they're pretty trivial.

tenth february__
went over to batam with ade first. had some mcdonald's, chicken and tempura from shihlin, subway, and some cookies with us. some yummy lunch. then slept throughout the ferry trip. the watermelon was damn irritating, thanks.

bought a bottle of baileys and headed to the holiday inn hotel. surprise number one: free shuttle to the hotel! and the two of us strolled around the hotel like some suaku cavemen. surprise number two: kinky hotel room! whoaaaa. it's seriously paradise man. surprise number three: cable tv available! espn + starsports. yummmmm.

went down to the skipark. surprise number four: it's some ten minutes walk away from the hotel! surprise number five: the place is some empty! tried ski-ing for the first time. kneeboard, training board. was able to stand at the end of the day. i'd say my progress was below average, if not average.

back to the hotel by eight, and kept the ski-ing stuff a hush hush thingy. it succeeded, for three days. and now the cat is outta the bag. haha.

surprise number six: candy brought some many food along with her! some mahjong session and it was lights out. didn't get to sleep much tho, but all is fine.

eleventh february__
went for breakfast early with eric. surprise number seven: godly spread at the buffet. stuffed ourselves silly, and took a walk down to the ski park, where we met the rest. didn't ski alot, but i almost made it one round. many thanks to ade. played mahjong and some pool. a pretty rest and relax day, if not for the sore arms. grr.

before we left, we did some gosu stunts. backflips and somersaults into the water! interesting in a way that tons of pictures were snapped. and they look pretty good! pictures up when they're up, so be patient![/quote]

went for dinner at some seafood restaurant. surprise number eight: free shuttle, again! it's provided by the seafood restaurant, so yeah. heh. pretty comfy transport tho. had some pretty average dinner, i guess. not anything to rave about. except that the spice in the food was really spicy. had a good chat with kokping and lionel tho.
good seabreeze + good food + good company. yumm.

went back to the room to catch some soccer. missed liverpool's 1-0 win against wigan. surprise number nine: middlesbrough beat chelsea 3-0. whoo. watched manu scored three goals against portsmouth too. heh. definitely one of the better nights for soccer. had some drinks and napped some. didn't have enough sleep again, like the night before.

twelfth february.
woke up pretty late. ten am, i think. went for the same gosu breakfast with candy, renhao and kokping. only ten minutes left for breakfast. but still, we managed to fill our table with food and tucked in. returned only after eleven. heh. took quite a bit, i guess.

ade and andre left for the skipark. so the rest of us decided to go for a swim. surprise number ten: the service at the hotel is wonderfuckingful. i'm not gonna elabroate, you should try the holiday inn anytime you're in batam. heh. swam, played some 'waterpolo', some sauna and steambath.

checked out of the room and headed to the polo ralph lauren shop to get a new polo t. heh. some cheap compared to singapore's. but i didn't realise that i had overspent, and went ahead with the polo t anyway. grr. but still, pretty happy. heh.

went around taking pictures with lionel while the rest took their time to head to the skipark. went to this delapidated building which looked like it had been burnt down. pretty interesting. snapped some pictures of the surroundings, and a few portraits of me. heh. i even took a few for lionel! but taking pictures actually takes some skill man. i compare the pictures i take and lionel's, and there is a wide gulf between the standard. i can see that my pictures suck, but i don't know how to make it better. some sad stuff..!

skipark again. sang some birthday song, and watched some interesting jump into the water. some three storey high stuff. didn't stay for long, uneventful for much parts too. hmm. i wonder.

ferry ride back was pretty dull too. had some portrait at the second deck(?) of the ferry, then headed down. was pretty exhausted: physically, and mentally for most parts. some discman accompaniment is thanks!

dfs was good. bought absolut peach for jessie, and bombay sapphire. stupid blue bottle triggers memory. haha. taxi ride to weili's for jessie's birthday thingy was pretty similar as the ferry ride above. mass couples in the maxicab didn't help! but hey, i'm not complaining. hahaha. all's well, all's well.

had some food, and chatted many. hitched a ride to lakeside and took a train home. whoo. i'm surprised i'm still pretty alive at one am now.

pretty long for an update, but definitely not enough the describe the fantastic trip there. here's many thanks to cableski-staff, holidayinn-staff, and batam. and how can i forget thecrew, for making this trip all the more valuable and memorable. heh. <3s to all.

The Story of a Few Lao Langs.

Once upon a time, there were five lao langs living under one roof.

They are..



These few lao langs have nothing better to do. Everyday, they do the same thing over and over again.

A few of them like to read newspaper..


One was pretty special..



The other was 'special-er'.


But of course.. Just like how autistic kids like to stare at walls or draw interesting stuffs, these lao langs have few fetishes of their own.


One day, one of the lao langs saw an interesting piece of news.


So, everyone gathered to look at the newspapers. And they saw..

one. - six years old.
two. - twelve years old.
three. - eighteen years old.
four. - twenty four years old.
five. - thirty years old.

Fwah! They were all amazed! These were pictures from almost 30-50 years ago! As they read on, they saw this picture which said alot about their cooking.


So the three female lao lang are very angry.

erh hem. okay. so yeah. let's begin.

so. 除夕 was spent at home. was nothing spectacular. had some gosu reunion lunch. which ended at around 2-3pm. after which i went to sleep. woke up at 7pm to eat again. man, what a 'healthy start' to the new year. eat sleep eat sleep. then played some mahjong at home. ended around 1am? supposed to 守夜. so 守 loh. played random cgs with ben, zw, cw, justin. until 5am. zz.

初一.. kinda forgot what i did. i think i sleep till damn late. then wake up and eat. hahahaha. eat and eat and eat. the feast was damn good la. then evening went to watch 'Fearless'; '霍元甲' with cw, ben, justin. damn nice show! 自强不息！ went home and mahjonged. and played more random cgs.

初二.. woke up damn early to yanlan's sms. dragged my lazy ass off bed cos i cged till some late the night before. again. went down to northpoint for some lunch, and then mahjong at her place. played with two of her friends, kenny(31) and debbie(26). the numbers aren't their waist size, tho it probably is; it's their age. but they were very approachable. chatted all the way with them. it's an eye-opener because the topics are so different. debbie is gonna get ROM-ed soon(in their terms), and kenny will be dealt the same predicament(no?) at the end of the year. damn cool people!

night was some boring. thanks. called vincent and they say gonna mahjong! (stop counting the numbers of 'mahjong's. countless.) so i went down to vincent's place at like 11? zhebin arrived a lil later. headcount: vincent, candy, ade, me, zhebin. played some mahjong. then ade had to leave! but how can we allow her to leave! so we very 不要脸 de follow her back to her place. went down to ade's place. again. some last minute stuff. had some fun. steph's back from malaysia too! took too damn many pictures and i suppose ade is having a problem putting them up. heh. eric was the 'house-man' and did most, if not all of the cooking and cleaning up. whahaha. candy being her usual lame-self. too bad renhao had to leave early cos his eyes hurt from some contacts. suffering from lack of sleep, i suppose. hahaha.

cabbed home, and here i am! i think i'm falling ill. sighhh.
