i miss you

its been a long time since i blogged properly.
oh well, who cares. pretty hectic nowadays. work. assignments. school. bah.
went for supper.. just got home..
and on the way home, i was listening to "until the day i die". then it invoked something in me.
i usually think alot. but this time, i think i thought way too much. haha. i think i thought. >.<

memories. wonderful things aren't they?

well.. here i go..
i realised.. i missed primary school days alot. when there was morning session, and i would never ever find it hard to get out of bed. and i'd head straight home after school for the first three years of my primary school life. and i'd watch television or play mario on the nintendo. at 3.30, i'd go downstairs and grab myself a "chai tao kuay", ala carrot cake. then i'd return and continue watching tv. i forgot if i ever studied, but my results are a testimony to me being able to score even if i did not study. hah. and i'd remember those runs to jialin's house, which is just beside mine, to play with her. and i'd be scared that my mother would call home, so i'd bring the cordless phone over. haha.

then primary four onwards, i got stuck with soccer. i missed the days when i used to play soccer alone with hweesiang or longhan after school. the 'meetings' we held at the void deck's table tennis tables. where we'd do our homework, play soccer. going to zhengyang's house to play with his power ranger models; and then getting scolded by his mother cos she's oh-so-strict. i'm supposed to be studying with zhengyang btw. hahaha.

secondary school days. the 'turning point' in my life? perhaps..
i missed the 2b/3sa/4sa batch. sam, benho, natlim, and everyone else who made it great. besides the class, there were people like ericwidjaja. i'd swear that he was kinda my best friend throughout sec2s-4. the rendezvous at his place almost every other week after school. then we'd change into those baggy jncos and hit orchard. haha. where i knew people like samantha, jasmine, minghui, peini. those ddr days and spending tons of money at arcades. but not as much as at lan. cstrike days. where me and eric used to go and trial for different clans because they provide free gameplay. i still remember one which was "k4mik4z3" or smth like that. haha. we got selected but the clan simply sucks. so we played for free anyway. travelling all the way to jurong to play at comblaster, with eric as usual. jasmine and samantha were playing too. i remember samantha's nick as "venus" or smth, and jasmine's was some jappo kinda thingy. hahaha.

i missed going out with fur, jared, ernest, etc. haha. those movies, dinners. going for pool with fur, and teaching her how to play. hahaha. movies every week. ((((= and jakob. thanks for bringing me to pool all the time. haha. now i guess i can at least play decent pool. and all the prinsep nightpacks. the tower defences, the counterstrike "buddha formations". hahahaha. i miss them all. its been a long time..

i miss the old vietlang. mandy, kelvin, desmond. the hilltop karaoke sessions. where i first picked up drinking and couldn't stop even till now. lawrence who tagged along and always got bullied cos he got kinda drunk and desmond couldn't even be bothered to send him home. haha.

i missed going to angmokio to study with samantha. and all the things we used to do together. i forgot what day it was, but i remembered that she went to buy flowers the day we studied at the amk mac. haha. shopping trips with this guy called jerome. who has utterly no sense of dressing! uber rich tho. simply swipe his card at the shop, it wasn't even shopping! the time when i visited sam at the ocbc building. and she treated me to lunch! i haven't repayed you for that! hrmph. your birthday chalet, where we had so so so much fun i hope we'd do it again. the drinking and games and whateverrrrr. hahaha.

and i got to know peee thru sam. which was kinda kewl cos she hit me on the head during some concert at vch. hahaha. and the long bus rides from orchard back to jurong with jasmine. having to run after last trains. hectic, but nonetheless funky.

not forgetting all the wantons eaten at cal's place. all the gay action with dik kng. everyone from s0ul. i'm lazy to name. all the playstation2 games at cw's place. the pizzas, the geylang beef horfun.

this was when i realise i do not really miss the early poly school days. perhaps they're true when they say that the people you know during your sec school days are the ones that will stick with you for a lifetime. hmm..

but nonetheless, there are people worth a mention! amanda! somehow got to know her thru peee eh. funnnn. i never regretted it. (= dawn! the ramly, the kaypo-ing, the haagan dazs. hahaha. steph the zhu! you'll always be a zhu. hahahaha. ict society which will always rawk. jingyang and rest of mahjong gang for all the mahjong sessions. yada yada yada.

i could go on forever. i've taken almost forty five minutes for this post now. and its pretty boring to go on. i don't think you all will finish reading this rubbish anyway.

go play some game and go to sleep.. some long post. 4997 characters typed. some pwnage.

and still we'll say remember when.. just like we always do..

hhaaiikkk.

i just spoke to a friend i haven't spoken to for in months.
she got caught in the tsunami while vacationing with her mother and uncle. ))=
her uncle's missing now. hhaaiikkk.
but she's strong enough to remain there and help out, when the logical reasoning in us would be the get out of the tragedy-stricken land and back to our comfy sofas at home. to this, i salute her.
and she's not continuing her studies despite being from a respectable junior college. instead, opting for a job at the singapore zoological gardens.
yes. the ZOO.
i admire her courage. but then again, i would have if given the chance to. i'm not exactly an animal lover, but being a zookeeper beats being an office person. in terms of freedom la.
but how many of us in singapore are actually willing to give up that armchair and airconditioning for a swim with the seals? yes, she's gonna be training the seals there. and i have no doubts that with her intellect that she'd excel elsewhere, and not only in the zoo.
she's one of a kind.
us in singapore miss you. get back soon. (=
i dedicate this post to you, ll.

blardie PM test. its killing me. good thing i have UD later... can sleep. ><
and gotta wait for vday meeting i suppose. so that gives me another two hours of sleep.
nonetheless, i should be studying for PM test.
BUT.
i began surfing around and found this blog. by someone called "cheeky".
and i began reading it for two whole hours.
his blog is goooooood. hahaha. albeit bad english here and there.

so, i decided to do an "excerpt" from his page.

This is about a true and scary ghost story.

Before cheeky proceeds, he has to warn you that the story is true and pretty scary, so maybe you would like to surround yourself with loved ones or cuddle up to a teddy bear. And if you have weak bladder, please refrain from reading further cause it's damn scary.

The story took place during the 7th month of the Chinese lunar calendar and revolved around a young lad named Sam. Sam at that time was working as a general worker, in a small company located at Tuas. During one particular working day, the whole of Sam's company was requested to work OT in order to meet a deadline due tomorrow. By the time everything was done, it was already past 1 am and Sam was the last person left in the office. He was left wondering whether there were still any bus services at this hour. He decided to try his luck and quickly tidied up the office, locked up and rushed towards the bus stop. The bus stop was situated by a small narrow road with dense forestation surrounding the area. Sam waited for about 20 minutes and was about to make his way to the main road to catch a cab when a double deck bus appeared from nowhere. He hesitantly waved it down, boarded the bus and the only person he saw on the same bus was a frail ghastly looking old woman. The old woman was dressed in white samfoo and black pant, attire favoured by maids in those early days or "Ma Jie" as they were commonly known then. Sam felt uneasy upon seeing her and was about to go up to the upper deck when a voice ranged out in Cantonese, "Young man, don't go upstairs. Upstairs dangerous." It was the old woman. Her comment sent a chill through Sam's bones and he figured that the upper deck might be "dirty". He decided to heed the old woman's advice and grab a seat at the lower deck even though he felt uncomfortable by her presence. It was an agonizing 20 minutes journey before Sam reached his bus stop. He quickly alighted and turned to steal a quick glance at the old woman, who stared right back at him by the window. Without further ado, Sam hastened his pace and was fortunate to reach home safely.

The next day, Sam was requested to work OT and ended up being the last person left in the office again. It was already past midnight and Sam was contemplating whether to take a cab home but decided against it in the end as money was tight. So he made his way to the bus stop again and after about 20 minutes, the same double deck bus appeared. Sam boarded the bus and saw the same old woman again. He decided to go to the upper deck again when the old woman called out to him, "Young man, don't go upstairs. Upstairs dangerous." Even though, he heard it before, he still felt a certain fear inside him since it's the 7th month. To be on the safe side, he reluctantly took a seat at the lower deck again and reached home with no incidents.

The third day, Sam was asked to do OT again. By now he was feeling dreaded and worried as he didn't want to repeat the same process again. But he obliged nevertheless since it's his livelihood. He was, you guessed it, the last person left in the office again. He made the same journey to the bus stop, occasionally checking his back as he walked. The double deck bus arrived, he boarded it and saw the same old woman again. As he proceeded to go upstairs, the old woman warned him again, "Young man, don't go upstairs. Upstairs dangerous." Sam was fed up with the old woman by now and decided to go upstairs even though he was feeling a bit scared. He saw no one else when he reached the upper deck and slowly made his way to the back of the bus and sat down. Sam’s heart began pounding away as he waited anxiously for something to happen. After 30 minutes, with nothing happening, Sam went downstairs to confront the old woman and asked her why she kept saying it's dangerous upstairs. The old woman turned, stared at him and replied, "Young man, don't go upstairs. Upstairs dangerous. Upstairs got no bus driver."

hahahahahaha. damn funny!
anyway, this is the site!
cheeky's site!

hahaha. i should be going to bath. then read more PM stuff. >.<
